DESCRIPTION:Course Objectives\:\nThis 16-hour course includes classroo
 m and practical hands-on training. This course will prepare rescue per
 sonnel to evaluate and respond to ice related emergencies. The rescue 
 personnel will learn to identify ice conditions\, use ice rescue equip
 ment and practice shore base\, boat and direct contact ice rescue tech
 niques.  This course meets NFPA 1670 technician level guidelines.  Pre
 -requisite\: Water Rescue and Emergency Response.
